Its a boy!

We had our ultrasound today and I am having a boy!! We are so excited! It was a good thing that we wanted to find out because there was no hiding that it was a boy. He had his legs spread far apart and the ultrasound tech didn't even have to tell us what it was, there was no mistaking it!

Adrea was a little sad to hear that she is not getting a sister. When we found out it was a boy she asked "What if we don't like it?" I know she will love it though she is an awesome big sister already!

Six Flags

We went to Six Flags Magic Mountain this weekend with the kids. Nick had this trip planned with some friends but most of his friends are losers and ended up not going. So, his sister Sasha, and his Friend Carey are the only ones who went. Since noone else was going I decided I would go and take the kids since he was driving down anyways. I was actually a little concerned about the kids riding in the car for that long, and they way that they would act at Six Flags. However, they were seriously so good. The only times they acted up was when I was trying to get them to hurry up a big hill to go meet their dad, and then we ended up having to turn around and

go straight back down.
They played so hard and were so good the entire time! Even the 30hours that they were in the car they were awesome! Most of the car time was at night though so they just slept anyways!

They also loved to ride on Thomas, I was also able to ride Thomas which was oh so fun!

Their very favorite ride was Percy! I think that they probably rode this ride more than 20 times! Luckily there weren't lines so the operator would let them ride over and over and over until they decided to go do something else.

Kayden's first time driving...

Well the other day we got home from the store and came inside. We were all busy doing stuff and Kayden stole my keys and went outside to play in the suburban. Well, he does this all the time, he thinks it is cool to act like he is driving. He has never even been able to get the keys all the way into the ignition. So, after a few minutes I told Nick he had better go out and check to see what he was up to. He had turn the key on, not the engine just the key, and somehow pushed the break and took the car out of park and put it into neutral. Now this wouldn't be such a big deal if when the house was built they hadn't built our foundation up so dang high!! So our drive way is probably the only one on the street that has a steep slope to it. So when Nick looked out the window before going to check on him, he yelled at me that the suburban was across the street! So we go out there and it is sitting on the neighbor across the streets yard with my son in there just bawling hysterically!! He was terrified! It literally took him over ten minutes of sitting on the couch with me to stop shaking. Needless to say he wont be doing that again, he was sooo scared, and also I am going to make sure he doesn't take off with the keys anymore!!!

Big News!

Ok so most of you know that I suck at blogging!! So, first of all I am sorry! I am trying to be better, I just hate being online when I don't have to. So, I don't have a lot of time right now, but I wanted to officially let you know that we are having a baby!! Some of you already know this but there are many that don't. I am due January 10th. So I am just over 17 weeks right now. We are so excited!! We have tried for a quite a while and have had complications. We were told by a doctor that we may never be able to naturally conceive a baby. However, here I am pregnant!! We are seriously so happy! I had actually given up on having any more of our own children. I am sorry we didnt tell everyone sooner, but there were so many more risks than normal with this pregnancy that I didn't want to have something bad happen and have to explain it to everyone!! Well just wanted to give everyone an update!!

Adrea's Preschool Graduation

Adrea had Preschool Graduation a couple weeks ago. It was really fun. They sang a bunch of songs. They prepared for several weeks practicing their songs. She was so proud to graduate from Preschool. I can't believe that she is old enough to graduate

from preschool. I am going to be so sad when she starts Kindergarten in August! I don't want her to be gone every single day of the week. It will be a big adjustment, but I know she will love it. Every time that we drive past the Kindergarten building she points at it and says how she can't wait to go to Kindergarten. However, her best friend from Preschool will not be going with her, which makes her a little sad, she is to young and will be going to another year of preschool. But, she is excited to make new friends.

T-Ball

So Adrea has been playing T-Ball this spring. She has had so much fun!! Although, most of her time is spent picking grass or flirting with boys on her team. She seems to be getting better at hitting at throwing the ball. It is so great to see her start to come out of her shell. She is such a quiet little thing that it is so nice to see her talk to other kids her age, and make friends.

Its been a while!

So as you all know I am so bad at blogging!! I cant keep caught up on it.
I mainly think that it is because we are boring people and dont have much to say! Oh well I will try to be better.
Well we got a new dog Dotti. She is about 10 weeks old now. She is a pug and is so cute! It is really funny to watch her and Duke play with each other. She weighs about 5 lbs and he weighs about 150lbs. So it is quite a big difference. I think we are close to being done potty training, but I really wish we had a fenced back yard and a dog door!! Maybe someday!
Adrea has Kindergarten screenings in a month and I am kinda worried. I know I shouldnt be, but she is just so shy and wont talk to family members let alone some person she doesnt even know. I know that they will understand, but it kinda frustrates me because I know she is very smart but because she wont talk I think she will suffer.
Kayden is still crazy as ever! That boy is so funny. He is getting so big and independant!
We finally heard from the insurance company today of that the dumb guy that hit Nick on his sled. They are going to total the sled. So now we have till the end of the day to decide to keep it or give it to them. But either way we will be getting it paid for which is GREAT!!
So I can hear my kids screaming downstair so I better go figure out what is up!!

The poor snowmachine!

So Nick decided to go Snowmachining on Saturday. He got up to the parking lot unloaded his sled and a couple minutes later got ran over by a Suburban with a snow plow on the front of it. Luckily nick was trown off the sled and was not hurt too badly he is still pretty sore, his back is hurt pretty bad, but for the most part he is ok!
The sled is a diffent story it probably has at least $3,000 worth of damage.
The guy that hit him, ran off after the accident and the sheriff had to track him down. What a scum bag, first he hits Nick with out even swerving or hitting the breaks at all, and then takes off!
Oh well, My husband is ok that is all that matters!!!!

Adrea's Birthday

So Adrea just turned 5! I can't believe it! I am feeling old! She is in preschool now and thinks she needs to have all of her friends come to her birthday party. So, we had a Birthday party exclusivly for her friends on Friday, we had about 10 little kids 5 and under here. Nick got off work early that day and ended up hiding in the garage the entire time! It was fun though we played a couple games and, of course, had a pinata. Adrea is kinda obsessed with pinata's. She has had one for her 3, 4 and now her 5th birthday. So This pinata was way to strong to be broken by these little kids, and we had some pretty strong little boys hitting at it with now blind fold! So finally me and my 2 friends that were there had to break it. Carma and Mariah didn't even have what it takes, so I had to bust the thing so the kids could go crazy collecting all of the candy that was scattered all over the floor!
Then on Saturday my mom and step dad came up to spend the weekend with us. We went cross country skiing for a little while which was fun. However, the rental place didn't have any small cross country skiis so Adrea had to snow shoe, well, she gave up and let Kayden take over!
It was a nice day we went out to dinner and then went swimming at Green Canyon!
Sunday we woke up early for church and I felt like I was going non stop till about midnight. I had to decorate the cake. We had almost all of our family here. Seriously there was 20 kids all 10 years and under and about 20 adults, my house felt so cramped! But it was nice to have everyone here! We of course had to have another pinata for this birthday party! This one was crushed by my 9 year old nephew Tyson, that kid is so strong! It was fun but the kids were quite crazy!! After all of the fun, everyone left and I still had to go and work :P! It was a great birthday for Adrea and she was able to see so many of her friends and family!

Kayden aka Swiper the Fox

So since about the middle of January Kayden has been saying that he is Swiper the Fox! It is so funny! He will run up to Adrea steal whatever it is she is playing with and run off saying "I'm Swiper Fox". So, I should be getting mad at him for stealing stuff from his sister, but it is so funny that everytime he does it I just laugh! It amazes me when them come up with these kinds of things on their own! I just love my little swiper!

New years!

So you know you are old when New Years is lame!! We had some friends over for New Years Eve to play some games. Well we all have little kids so everyone left around 11 or so. LOL! Aren't you supposed to ring in the new years with a party!! No, not when you have little kids apparently! Oh well at least I got a New Years Kiss!!! Maybe next year will be better...probably not!
